The Big East Triathlon, based at at the Marina in Bradwell Waterside, Essex - an ideal location for triathlon - has already established itself as a true classic and is a great event as preparation for Ironman, the season ahead, or for anyone in search of a new challenge. With 2 distances to choose from: standard and middle, the event consists of a swim in the River Blackwater, a cycle around the quiet and scenic roads of the Dengie Peninsula, and finishes with a lapped run around the sea wall and marshes. The triathlon runs alongside the Tour of the Dengie Cycle Sportive.
