Birmingham Black Country Half-Marathon

Wolverhampton, West Midlands

British Waterways Canal Dock Wolverhampton WV1 1LJ

Sat 7th July 2018

Organiser's Description

A unique point to point race along canal towpaths, starting in Wolverhampton City Centre and finishing in Brindley Place in the centre of Birmingham. Conditions underfoot vary from gravel tracks and un-kept trails to smooth pavement. The route is largely flat, with locks and bridges as the only inclines, and includes the famous 360m 'Coseley Tunnel' - a memorable feature of this scenic course. The route also features floating drink stations (canal barges) every 3 miles.
