Swim in the fresh water lake on the Bowood Estate; the cycle route will take you into the ‘wilder' parts of the Estate, looping around the grounds past Bowood Golf Course, Osprey Farm, and including Lord Lansdownes' private driveway, which is inhabited by game fowl; a picturesque closed road run around the estate takes in the stunning scenery of Bowood Lake, The Cascade Waterfall and The Doric Temple.
