With a transition area conveniently located just outside and a scenic adult run course winding through beautiful parkland, athletes will appreciate the stunning backdrop. The bike course has been extended to showcase the charming villages and countryside surrounding Brackley, while new for 2018 is the sprint distance Aquabike option, allowing competitors to focus on swimming and biking. Now approaching its 8th year this is a family friendly, pool-based triathlon with adult sprint and novice events, also junior events for kids aged 8yrs and up with fully enclosed traffic-free bike and run.
New for 2018: new swimming pool at Brackley Leisure Centre due to open summer 2018; transition area immediately outside; off site adult run course through parkland; extended sprint distance bike course around the surrounding villages; sprint distance Aquabike (swim and bike).
Adults choose a one or two lap bike leg and run, both taking in the beauty of Brackley and the surrounding villages and countryside.
