Join us for the exciting Cumbernauld 10k on Sunday, September 15, 2019, at Broadwood Stadium in Cumbernauld, North Lanarkshire, organized by North Lanarkshire Leisure! This vibrant community running festival offers something for everyone, featuring a main 10k road race perfect for seasoned runners and beginners alike. In addition, young athletes can participate in a 3k timed run for S1 to S4 pupils, a children's 1k race for Primary 5 to Primary 7 students, and a fun 400m Dash for kids in Primary 1 to Primary 4.
But that's not all! The event also includes a delightful Toddler Dash for ages 3 to 5, ensuring that even the littlest runners can join the fun. Plus, families can take part in the Victory Mile Walk, partnering with Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus Scotland. With a flat, fast course and a brand-new finisher medal design, the Cumbernauld 10k promises a fantastic day filled with free activities for all ages. Organiser's Description
Cumbernauld 10k is a family community running festival based at Broadwood Stadium in Cumbernauld, North Lanarkshire. Alongside the main 10k road race is a 3k timed run for pupils in S1 to S4; the day also includes a children's 1k race for pupils in Primary 5 to Primary 7, and we have added a 400m Dash for Pupils in Primary 1 to Primary 4. This year will also see the return of the Toddler dash for 3-5yrs. Finally we also offer a Victory Mile Walk event in partnership with our registered charity the Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus Scotland.
We are cheap, flat, fast, beginner-friendly, with a new finisher medal design, and free fun activities for all the family.
