DEFY DALBY

Navigate your way through a beautiful section of the vast 8,500 acres of North York Moors National Park. As the 5km course loops inside the 10km course, you’ll have the chance to explore the multi-terrain this forest has in store.

Take on the series of chip-timed competitive events, challenging yourself against the clock.

Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation have teamed up with Forestry England to host this competitive series across the UK.

Course Details

Navigate your way through a beautiful section of the vast 8,500 acres of North York Moors National Forest. As the 5km course loops inside the 10km course, you’ll have the chance to explore the multi-terrain this park has in store.

The chip timed race is open to all abilities with routes fully marked and marshalled to direct you throughout the race.

FACILITIES

Refreshments: The café onsite at Dalby Forest visitor centre are open to serve hot/cold drinks and light snacks.

Toilets: The main toilet block onsite at Dalby Forest visitor centre is accessible to all runners, spectators, and volunteers.

Bag drop: There will be no formal bag drop onsite.
