I love these races. Off road, so no horrid early hours start. Officials are both efficient and out to provide a fun day out. Good quality facilities and marshaling.

A good event in a great location, with onsite parking. I felt very safe in the water, with plenty of safety crew overseeing the competitors. The pre race briefing was comprehensive and very clear. On the downside, Transition was chaotic, with competitors from all the different events mingled in together. I would suggest this needs to segregated by event to ensure later competitors getting ready, do not obstruct racers progressing through Transition. At the finish there was no water or drink which I felt was poor. However, I would do this event again.

Excellent venue for Triathlon events. Pan flat bike and run routes on dedicated closed road. Despite the bike route being 8 loops, there is plenty of width for multiple people to overtake at the same time, so no bottle necks. I was surprised at the number of people getting punctures & mechanicals (at least 10 out of 340), perhaps the course needs a road sweeper put over it once a year.

Fantastic weekend, we travelled down from Yorkshire Saturday, and stayed in a hotel. Arrived at the venue, easy to register and rack up in transition. The guy giving the pre start information was hilarious, put everyone at ease. The course is fabulous, good instructions, well worth taking part. This is my second time at Dorney Lake, and it wont be my last

The race was well set up and the staff were friendly. The flats are great and at the top of the lake it’s so quiet it felt like I was going on a woodland ride! The spectator spaces were okay but there weren’t any seats which isn’t great for those with access issues! Also we couldn’t find the place for the life of us - more detailed instructions to get from the station to the venue by bike are entirely needed and weren’t provided.

Organisation of the race was nearly perfect. Signage to the event was really good, athlete check in was super smooth. I really liked the security checks for entry into and out of the transition area. The only thing that needs to be improved is the transition area itself. Was chaos with athletes racing and also athletes in later waves setting up. There were a lot of issues with people putting bikes too close to others too, I came back into t2 and struggled to re rack my bike because somebody put there bike too close. Maybe setting out sections with tape on the bar for each athlete would make it better and easier. Or set a section for each wave. Overall event was really well run hence the 4 stars. First one done onto the next one

Very well organised. Ideal location for beginners. Fast, flat bike and run courses. Lake swim is excellent as the visibility is very good. I’ve done this event quite a few times over the years. Things to improve - more staff for food places. Queues were long. Can’t fault the event at all though and in such a beautiful setting.

Great day for a very nicely organized triathlon! Access to the site was difficult if you don't have a car so maybe something to address for the next editions! Thanks for the great event!

There was very little security in place in the transition area- anyone could walk in and out which was really concerning. When I came to leave at the end with all my stuff, the guy didn’t even check I had the right bike!! 1st event I’ve ever been to where there was no prize giving either. Day was okay and lovely venue. I’ve raced at Dorney before but it was far better organised so would unlikely return with this event organiser running it. Security of my kit is a big deal!

The location for the race is beautiful and was really well organised. All information was given when you arrive and was well signed which was perfect for me as it was my first race. The picture of the site map was quite pixelated so couldn’t work it out before I arrived which is the only reason I didn’t give 5 stars. Good facilities for supporters and allowed to bring dogs too.

Really well organised! The water was really clear, the bike and run course was lovely and flat. Event organisers were really helpful. My only suggestion would be numbering the bikes in transition areas for the triathlon and maybe a post race snack should be included in the price?

Great venue, really well organised and good communication beforehand. Only drawback is that it's not the best venue for supporters, particularly on the bike leg.

Lovely venue for smashing your time, really enjoyed it. If you’re after podiums and freebies post-race this won’t be it though. GPS tracking is an extra £5

I was a bit reluctant to sign up because I thought that 8 laps on the bike course would be a draft fest and dangerous. I was wrong. The competitors were well scattered so there was really no danger at all. I had a great time racing on a fast course. I highly recommend it, especially for beginners who will benefit from a friendly atmosphere and a small field.

Great beautiful venue on Eton College grounds. Simple course layout for swimming, cycling and running. Course quite flat. Only comment - it would be nice if there was a bike tool station with a pump like in other events.
