Choose to run 5k or 10k and take in the scenery as you follow country lanes across fields and farm land.

Course Details

This trail based run takes you over the fields of Lower Broadheath, with fantastic views towards the Malverns, Bredon Hill and the cathedral city of Worcester, making it a great entry event for those interested in exploring trail running. Profits from the event will be shared between Acorns Hospice and the Lower Broadheath Community Orchard Fund.

Both the 10k and 5k routes are circular, starting at the National Trust property, The Firs which is the birthplace of Edward Elgar. Both routes will take in the rolling fields and woods directly east of Lower Broadheath. This year we have managed to design a route that avoids crossing any roads.

Post event you are welcome to enjoy a refreshment at the Cafe located at the finish, if you want to enjoy a cooked breakfast why not cider either the Bell or Dewdrop Inn both situated within the village.

How to Get There

By Car
The National Trust, The Firs is a 15-minute drive from Worcester via the A44, and a 35-minute drive from Kidderminster via the A449 and A44 (follow the brown signs).

By Public Transport
The nearest train station is Worcester Foregate Street.
