Exeter's Great West Run - 10k & Half
The Great West Run half marathon will take you through the heart of Exeter, followed by pretty country lanes and stunning views across Exeter, with a fantastic stadium finish.
The brand new 10km route will follow the first and final 3 miles of the half marathon.
The Community Mile takes place alongside the famous Great West Run Half Marathon and brand new 10km.
The-mile-long fun run is designed to encourage first time runners, families, friends, colleagues and teams to come together and challenge themselves to get active for a fitter, healthier life.
Great for beginners and experts alike, this event should be on all your running calendars.
- Although we cannot predict where we will be as a nation by May, we have put well thought out, flexible and responsive measures in place to ensure that the Great West Run 2021 is a COVID-secure event, as other events have already started to show is possible. Read more here. We will do everything we can to ensure that the event will go ahead, but if COVID-19 stops this from happening we will be offering refunds or transfers to all runners.

Shuttle buses will run from Exeter city centre bus station to the race start at Exeter Arena.
Tickets can be purchased on the registration form when you sign up or from the event shop and will be sent out with your race pack or seperately in the week before the event if you purchase them from the event shop.
Buses will depart from Exeter city centre bus station between 7am and 7.45am, but we encourage runners to arrive early as the service will be busy. The last buses will depart at 7.45am to arrive at the Arena by 8am.
Return services will run from approximately 11.15am (or when the first bus is full), dropping runners back to the bus station.
