Fancy a night-time swim on Bonfire Night? Really!? This event starts with a rocket – of course - and consists of one lap of the Jackdaw Quarry at Capernwray Dive Centre, which, in water this temperature, should be long enough! But you can enjoy the beauty of night swimming in clear water and safe surroundings – you'll be issued with glow sticks, safety canoeists will be well lit up, and even the buoys will have lights to guide you round the 500m loop.
