Returning for a 2nd year, our Gold Award winning Hangers Way 50K is a beautiful point to point trail run event starting at the fantastic Alice Holt Country Park, Farnham and finishing at Queen Elizabeth Country Park, Nr Petersfield.
DESCRIPTION
The Hangers Way is a spectacularly unique long distance path, characterised by steep-sided wooded hills, known as “The Hangers”. The fully-signed course meanders through the beautiful woodland and grassland of the Hampshire countryside, visiting delightful villages such as Bighton and Selborne, home to Gilbert White, the naturalist and pioneer environmentalist.
It runs from Alton to Queen Elizabeth Country Park and we have used our usual BigFeat creativity to link the best trails up with this to make it a phenomenal 50K route.

REGISTRATION
Registration will be open from 7.30am to 8.15am
Runners will collect race bibs from the BigFeat HQ Tent at the start location on day of the event.
COACH TRANSPORT TO START
Coaches will transport runners to the start line at Alice Holt Country Park
TRANSPORT PRICE
Coach - £10
For those taking the coach transport to the start, we have covered the parking cost for you at QECP. Please be aware, we don't offer transport from the finish back to the start. You are welcome to leave your car at Alice Holt and get picked up from the finish. Pay and display parking charges will apply at Alice Holt Country Park.

Coaches will depart QECP at 7:15am.
START TIME
50k Ultramarathon - 8.30am
MANDATORY KIT
All runners will be required to carry at least 500ml of fluid with them. Most will have hydration vests but handheld soft flasks will be permitted.
As weather is changeable, especially in winter, runners are advised to also wear (and carry) appropriate clothing for the conditions.
We also strongly advise runners to download the GPX file of the route onto a wearable watch or mobile device. Although this is a marked course event, arrows can be tampered with, so a good understanding of the route is advisable.
BAG DROP
A bag drop tent will be available on the day at each start line. Bags will be transported to the finish line ready to be collected when you finish.
CUT - OFF TIME
50K Ultramarathon - 9 Hours
TREES NOT TEES
We work with the Trees Not Tees organization. Runners can opt to have a tree planted instead of receiving a finishers medal.
