Starting in the charming seaside town of Filey, runners will have 36 hours to tackle this incredible journey that winds along the spectacular Cleveland Heritage coastline. Along the way, they’ll experience the vibrant seaside resort of Scarborough, the historic smuggling hub of Robin Hood’s Bay, and the atmospheric town of Whitby, famously linked to Dracula. The course also features scenic stops at Staithes, Runswick Bay, and Saltburn, before challenging competitors with the picturesque Cleveland Hills and the rugged beauty of the North York Moors. Organiser's Description
Starting in Filey, competitors will have 36 hours to complete the 110 mile single stage trail race, following the stunning Cleveland Heritage coastline visiting the seaside resort of Scarborough, the old smuggling town of Robin Hood’s Bay, Dracula’s Whitby, Staithes, Runswick Bay and Saltburn, before passing through the beautiful Cleveland Hills and the North York Moors, finishing in the market town of Helmsley. 23/24 May.
