Organiser's Description
This IRONMAN 70.3 will take place in the beautiful architectural landscape of St. Petersburg. One of the World’s most recognisable destinations, few major cities boast as many sightseeing attractions, monuments, palaces and estates, gardens and parks, museums, drama and music theatres as St. Petersburg.
The swim will be held in the rowing channel where fans, friends and families will be able to watch the athletes from a very short distance. Be ready for good crowds and a fast swim! The two-loop bike course will begin with the rise on Yacht bridge and then continue to lake Lahtinskiy Razliv. The three-loop run course is on unpaved yet flat and fast roads of the Krestovskiy and Elagin Islands parks. Trees around the course will allow for some shade, which is also true for the finish line.
