Organiser's Description
Nestled in a bend in the Allier River, Vichy is one of France's most luxurious locations. Vichy has kept its reputation as a health retreat, helped along by the reputation of the cosmetic brand named for the town. Tree-lined boulevards laid out in the 19th century, and art-deco buildings such as the Opéra de Vichy, add to the town’s nostalgic feel.
Athletes will swim in the beautiful ‘Lac d’Allier’. The bike course will get through the departement of Allier, with spectacular views on the Montagne Bourbonnaise and the Volcanoes of Auvergne. Then, the banks of the ‘Lac d’Allier’ and the historic centre will welcome the run course.
