The route is approximately 70 miles and can be described as ‘very challenging'. Experienced cyclists will require gear ratio of 39/27 as a minimum, a compact chainset or triple chainset is strongly advised as the hardest climbs are close to the end of the route and are generally reached in a fatigued state.
