FAQs

GENERAL

What is Legion Run?

Legion Run is a thrilling up to 5km run with obstacles of mud, fire, ice and barbed wire, held in different countries around the globe. Our events are the ultimate opportunity for you to push past your physical and mental limits, and share some epic moments with friends, co-workers or family.

Is Legion Run a competition?

Absolutely not. Legion Run is not a race, we don’t even time you. No prizes, no medals, no certificates. It’s a personal challenge which, in turn, requires some pretty good teamwork. All you get at the finish line is a beer, a t-shirt and the genuine pride that you’ve made it.

Who can participate?

Everyone over the age of 18 is welcome. Fit, unfit, male or female – everyone can be Legion and everyone would make it to the finish line. We've even had participants at the age of 87!

Do I need a team to participate?

Not necessarily. If you don’t have a team, do not hesitate to buy an individual ticket. You will not be bored, not even for a minute. You will run side-by-side with hundreds of other participants and most probably make some spontaneous friendships along the course (yep, among the Legion Run’s side effects).

Should I train for Legion Run?

Some follow strict diets and workout routines. Others eat Lays potato chips and start drinking beer at noon every day. Either training plan is fine by us.

I can't swim. Can I still participate?

Absolutely. Though we have numerous water obstacles, none of them requires even basic swimming skills.

Are minors allowed to participate?

Unfortunately not. Our participants may act like grown-up children most of the time, but they all are over 18.

EVENT DAY

When should I arrive?

Make sure that you arrive at the check-in at least an hour before your wave time. Allow yourself enough time to park, check in and warm up. Keep in mind that, if you come late, you may not be able to join your team and will have to run in the next available wave.

What do I need to bring in order to check in?

Bring a valid government ID (ID card, passport or driving license) plus your printed and signed ticket.

What should I wear?

Anything you feel comfortable wearing while running 5k, jumping, climbing and crawling through mud is fine. Don’t think so much about looking cool, be practical and wear clothes you won’t be worried about.

Can I buy ticket at the door?

Yes, you will be able to buy a ticket in cash at the door. To see the prices, go to our events schedule and click your chosen event.

How long does it take to run the course?

Finish time depends on you and your team, on whether you are competitive by nature or you are doing the course just for the fun of it. The average finish time is 1,5 hour.

Am I allowed to skip obstacles?

Of course! Remember?! This is not a competition, so there are no penalties for bypassing. In fact, we actively encourage you to skip obstacles if you are even the slightest bit unsure. The idea is to challenge yourself and have fun, not to terrify yourself or get hurt in any way.

Will there be food and drinks on site?

Along the course there will be several stations with free water for all the participants. Besides, there will be food and drink vendors on site offering something for everyone, so please don’t bring food and drinks with you.

Will there be medical help?

Yes. Several first aid teams will be positioned along the course, ready to assist immediately if medical help is needed.

Will there be any after-party?

Why after?! The whole event itself is a priceless party – there will be food, drinks, music and some happy muddy creatures wandering around.

SPECTATORS

Are spectators allowed on site?

Sure! The more the merrier! Spectators are more than welcome to support participants, follow them along the course, and take countless shots of them jumping over fire or crawling under barbed wire. The fun is definitely worth it.

Am I allowed to walk the course along with the participants?

Hell yeah! We are among the few in the obstacle course industry that allow spectators to fully experience the event thrill. They are allowed to follow the participants along the course and take pictures. But please note that spectators must not get in the way of participants, attempt or complete obstacles.

Am I allowed to take pictures or make videos on site?

As many as you want! But if you represent a media, you need to request accreditation and provide us a copy of the footage afterwards.

Can minors and kids come as spectators?

Sure they can. But if you want to enjoy the Legion Run vibe to its fullest, we recommend you to leave the little darlings at home.

Can I bring my dog?

Sorry, no pets are permitted on the site because of the risks and impacts involved. Dogs are awesome, however it’s not possible to predict their reaction to the crowd and all the adrenaline around.
