Riders will face the ultimate challenge with the iconic closed road cobbled climb of Michaelgate, culminating in a triumphant finish in Castle Square, right at the foot of the stunning Lincoln Cathedral. You will have the chance to enjoy a weekend-long cycling extravaganza next year when the Lincoln Festival of Cycling 2021 brings a host of sporting events to the city.
For the 10th edition of this ever-popular event the long route has been extended to 107 miles. Choose from four routes through quiet picturesque lanes in the challenging Lincolnshire Wolds. The shorter routes take in less of the hills of the Wolds and are perfectly suited to those new to cyclo-sportives.
The icing on the cake for your ride is the closed road cobbled climb of Michaelgate. After a long ride in the tough hills of the Lincolnshire Wolds, this is the final test before finishing in Castle Square at the bottom of the imposing Lincoln Cathedral.
