May Hill, Longhope, Gloucestershire, UK

Sat 1st February 2020

Organiser's Description

A 9 mile tough cross-country run thats starts and finishes with a tough climb up May Hill in Gloucestershire. Throw in some very muddy trails, some great scenery and the open plain at the top of May Hill and you have a recipe for a must-do challenge run. Bragging rights are yours as you return back down the Hill to claim your well-earned medal. The event starts and finishes on the private Huntley Estate, Gloucester. The event sells out every year so we have added an extra day, so you have the option to run on the Saturday or Sunday, or both if you are brave enough!

Limited to the Sunday you also have the option of the 15 miles Massacre - the choice is yours. 1/2 February.

I managed not to get lost, many did. I think next year a few more arrows in strategic locations will help. I enjoyed it but can understand if some people are quite negative, having ended up off course and trying to find a way back.
