Well Organised Event. This was my first half marathon and thought the organisation was really good, quick and easy to collect the race pack, plenty of toilets and also the race times for the Half, 10k and 5k were timed in such a way it never got congested running around the track.
Would definitely run again!
Well Organised but Terrible Course. Race Village and Parking and the marshalling was all superb, nothing to fault there. DJ and steel band player were great for atmos and the crowds had great access to cheer us all on. But the let down was the course, running 4 laps is always going to be slightly tedious but the enticement of getting to run on the race track was not fully satisfied. It was so back and forth on itself to make up the distance that it just got boring by the middle of lap 2. Keep the 5k and 10k options but drop the Half.

A good race day. My first time doing this race and it was great! Nice and well laid out! Can’t wait to go again.
