Michelmersh and Timsbury 5 & 10 Mile

Starting and finishing at Michelmersh and Timsbury Jubilee Hall, Romsey, we head out into Michelmersh Woods in a single clockwise lap. You will pass through Lower Edon, Furzedown, Dirty Mount and back down via Tallboys, Baily's Down and along Monarch's way back to the finish at Michelmersh and Timsbury Jubilee Hall.

Runners can expect a moderately hilly mixed terrain circular route, approximately 16km long, with a gradual uphill start to the 5 mile point, reaching a total elevation gain of around 315 meters, you'll then be rewarded with a long 5 mile downhill to finish! This route wil be fully marked and Marshalls will be stationed at major points along the route. All runners will be sent a GPX file that we recommend you use for this circular route.

Event day logistics
7:30am parking opens in the Jubilee Hall car park and Mannyngham Way. Please note these are very limited and car sharing or drop offs are recommended. We are working on additional parking at hunts farm.

*Please arrive at least 45-60 minutes before the start of your race to allow plenty of time to park, register, collect your race pack, attach your race number, drop any bags you have, and sufficiently warm up.

Spectator Info
Supporters are more than welcome to come along and cheer on the runners. Please note however that there are a limited number of suitable vantage points unless you walk a few miles from the start line. If supporters have a dog with them, then please ensure they remain on a lead at all times.

• There is no strict cut off time for this event, however, runners should be able to complete the course within 4 hours
• There will be marshals stationed throughout the course to monitor and speak to the runners

If you would like to withdraw from the race, you must report this to a Marshall who will assist

Dogs are not permitted on the course with competitors due to Insurance and Permit limitations

Minimum age for this race is 16 years on the day
