Monster Triathlon

Start: Fort Augustus, Scotland

Fort Augustus, UK

Sun 20th June 2021 - Sat 26th June 2021

Organiser's Description

Swim, cycle and run over 1,055 km from Loch Ness to London, and tackle this seven-legged beast! Spanning 7 days, the Monster Triathlon is the UK’s ultimate multi-sport challenge. It starts with a 5k swim in Loch Ness, then 5 stunning days covering 1,000k on the bike, finishing with a 50k ultra-marathon run along the Thames, from Windsor to Richmond. For those unable to tackle the beast in one go we are offering Swim, Cycle and Run only packages this year.

You’ll pass lakes, climb mountains, ride past fields, fly through villages, cross rivers and conquer hills. As well as being an epic challenge, The Monster Triathlon also highlights the beauty and diversity of the UK. 7 days of meticulously planned routes, with full support teams in attendance at every start, finish, and on route. 20-26 June 2021

If you’re not ready to attempt the whole Monster Triathlon this year then why not take on one of our discipline specific challenges

Do I need insurance?
We highly recommend that riders take out suitable insurance to cover themselves and their bikes during, and in the lead, up to the event. If riders are suitably insured, they will be covered should they have to pull out for any reason and we will provide the necessary documentation to give to their insurers to be reimbursed the entry fee. We cannot personally give advice on this but your insurers should be able to advise you on suitable cover.

What should I pack?
As with all outdoor events, it’s wise to dress for all eventualities!

Do I need a Wetsuit
Wetsuits are compulsory for the swim element of the event.
