New Forest 100

Ringwood, Hampshire

Somerley House, Ringwood, Hampshire, BH24 3PS

Sat 19th September 2020

Organiser's Description

Much like our Spring New Forest Sportive, this event takes pride in being a ‘must do’ for many cyclists’. One of the highlights of this ride is the first blush of Autumn colour present in the National Park’s foliage, transforming the Forest into an English wonderland.

The ride crosses the River Avon, threading its way through country lanes into the Forest itself, where you’ll almost certainly come across free-roaming New Forest ponies, and maybe cattle or donkeys.

Epic riders will head off for a long loop along the sheltered back lanes East of Salisbury, then, once the extra miles have been covered, it’s time to rejoin the main route and skip back to the other side of the River Avon on the way back to the finish line. The short and punchy climbs will suit the budding puncheurs on the sportive circuit. 100, 60 and 30 mile options.
