An open swim in Ellingham Water Ski Lake – very calm, clear and clean - followed by an undulating road route in the beautiful New Forest National Park, and a tough run, mainly off-road on bridleways (gravel and sand surfaces) in the New Forest - a beautiful and hilly run to finish your race.

Big, Slick and Fun. Last year was my first year to do a triathlon. I decided to do a Sprint version with a short open water swim in the New Forest. The whole event was well organised and friendly. Plenty of parking, very scenic cycle route, good clean open water swimming area and slightly challenging gravel tracked running route. Overall, a great introduction to triathlon and I shall be back this year (diary permitting). Go for it.
