The minimum age for each event on or before the race day is as follows:

All entries for under 18s need to be completed by an adult on their behalf.

CAN I TAKE PART AS A WHEELCHAIR ATHLETE?

Non-racing wheelchair users are welcome to take part in the Be Prepared 5K. We do not recommend taking part in the Northstowe Half Marathon due to the nature of the course. If you wish to enter in a non-racing wheelchair, you will start at the rear of the wave for carefully considered health & safety reasons associated with the course terrain and density of runners in sections of the race. Please contact us at [email protected] if you have any questions or require further assistance.

CAN I RUN WITH THE DOG?

Animals will not be permitted on the Northstowe Half Marathon and Be Prepared 5K courses. We are unable to allow guide dogs on the course but can offer a free place to guide runners. We can also assist in finding a guide runner if required. Please contact us at [email protected] if you have any questions or require further assistance.

CAN I RUN WITH MY CHILD IN A BUGGY?

Running with the buggy is not permitted in the Northstowe Half Marathon and Be Prepared 5K race. Bikes, stilts, roller skates, skateboards etc. are not allowed in both races.

PRE- RACE INFORMATION

CAN I TRANSFER MY PLACE TO SOMEONE ELSE?

You can transfer your place to someone else until 2 weeks before the event. Any such transfer will be made by us re-registering the entry in the name of the alternative runner who will be required to accept the terms and conditions of entry before the transfer is completed.

You must not under any circumstances give your race number to anyone else. Amongst other potential problems, doing so may cause problems of identification for the event medical services in the case of an accident or injury. Any attempt to do so will result in immediate disqualification of the individual(s) concerned and ejection from future events.

CAN I WITHDRAW AND GET A REFUND?

You can cancel your entry and receive a full refund, within 14 days of your purchase. In such circumstances, you will receive a full refund of your entry fee. Cancellations are not possible unless we receive your written request within 14 days of your purchase.

You can withdraw until 5 weeks before the event to receive a partial refund. You will receive your entry fee, minus a £10 cancellation fee. After this date, there can be no refunds. If you need to withdraw please email [email protected] as all withdrawals must be made in writing.
