Set against the stunning backdrop of Perranporth, Cornwall, this mid-distance triathlon is celebrated as one of the UK's oldest and toughest events. Participants will kick off with an invigorating open water sea swim from the iconic Perranporth beach. The adventure continues with a demanding bike leg that takes athletes on a hilly route out of town and back, twice! To top it all off, competitors will tackle a scenic run along soft sands and rugged granite cliffs, concluding on the picturesque village green. Organiser's Description
Recognised as one of the UK's oldest, toughest, and best triathlons, this mid-distance event has an open water sea swim from Perranporth beach, a hilly, arduous bike leg out of town and back, twice, and a run along soft, unforgiving sand and over granite cliffs to the end of the beach and back, finishing on the village green, all amidst the beautiful Cornish landscape.
