Petzl Night Runner Grizedale Forest

Grizedale Forest, Cumbria

Grizedale LA22 0QJ, United Kingdom

Sat 9th December 2017

Organiser's Description

The 2nd night trail running race of the Petzl series takes place at Grizedale Forest, in the Lake District. Fancy dress, as always, is actively encouraged, and the theme for Grizedale is 'Christmas Festivities'. The trails are well packed underfoot and are not very technical - hilly, but think long steady climbs, rather than steep sharp ones. The first half is climbing, the second half is rewarding descents. The course follows trails within the Forest and is pitch black, so head torches are compulsory, but it's well marshalled and marked with reflective arrows and sticks. Free children's race with medals for all finishers.
