Yo Ho Ho!! Ahoy, Me Hearties!!

Welcome onboard… We’ll be running, jogging or walking any distance, anytime in 2022 on our Pirates on the Run challenge. This is a great way to keep on top of your fitness goals as well as getting a fabulous medal.

As a Find-A-Race customer, you will receive 20% off the entry price of this event. But hurry, we only have 2 places available. This race entry price was previously £12.00

WHAT'S INVOLVED?
Distances accepted: 5k, 10k, 10 miles, half marathon, full marathon, ultra. We also accept treadmill activities.

WHAT'S INCLUDED?
All participants will receive a beautiful white aluminium medal with a plain colour ribbon for their achievement.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER MY CHALLENGE?
Once you have completed your challenge, simply go to the running bug website and upload a screenshot of your activity on our secure submission form here. Once your evidence has been sent, you should be redirected to a confirmation page. Then that's it! Results will be verified, and medals posted.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
We do accept entries from overseas participants. However, please note that is an extra charge to cover postage costs. There may also be extra import duty charges and customs taxes depending on your country. You are liable to pay such charges. The Running Bug is unable to advise on these charges as they differ from country to country. We recommend you contact your local tax office.

  • What happens if I sign up for a challenge, but then can't do it?

    No problem. We understand that sometimes life gets in the way of your plans. If you find that you have signed up for one of our races then decide not to participant, we would be happy to defer your place onto another race at the same value. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds unless it is under special circumstances at the discretion of management.

  • How do I submit my evidence?

    Submitting your evidence is really easy. Simply take a screenshot of your activity from your mobile and visit our secure submission form at https://the-running-bug.com/submit-your-evidence/ where you can upload your file. This will be emailed to us. We accept evidence from all activity apps including Strava, Garmin, Fitbit, etc. Once submitted, you should be redirected to another page with a confirmation message.

  • How long does it take to receive my medal?

    Once your medal has been posted, you will receive an email to confirm. We aim to post all medals within 7 days of the conclusion of the event. All medals are sent by second class Royal Mail delivery.

  • What happens if I don't receive my medal?

    From-to-time, items do get damaged or lost in the postal system. Unfortunately, we don’t have any control over this. However, we appreciate this can be frustrating and disappointing not receiving your medal. If in the event that you have not received a medal within 14 days after the event, please contact us and we will send out a replacement medal free of charge. If in the event we do not have any replacement medals, we would be happy to transfer your place onto another race at no additional charges to you.
