Questars 360 - Thames Ridgeway Challenge

North Wiltshire & South Oxfordshire

Fordbrook Estate, Marlborough Rd, Pewsey SN9 5NT, UK

Sat 23rd June 2018

Organiser's Description

Run alongside and kayak down England's longest river; bike along Britain's oldest road. From the event base in Pewsey you bike across the North Wessex Downs to Lechlade, where you switch to kayaks (provided) and paddle down the River Thames to Oxford. You continue on foot along the Thames Path to just beyond Wallingford, then cycle back along The Ridgeway to Pewsey. Total distance will be no more than 240k, the majority of which is off road.

Ideally suited to teams of 2 or 4 people, you can do the challenge non-stop in 24hrs, or over two days with an overnight break. The terrain may not be mountainous but this is more than made up for by the distance! This is is a tough endurance challenge, an epic adventure racing journey not to miss!
