With a start at The Boars Head, Hoghton (Black route, shorter Red and Blue route options), the route meanders firstly along the River Darwen, continues along Rotary Way and crosses the River Mersey before reaching the finish at the Marco Marco Restaurant, Lymm. 56 miles, 1,329m of climb.
