We are delighted to welcome the return of the hugely popular Run Frimley on Sunday 4th May 2025. The event has always attracted a strong community following with over 1,200 runners taking part year on year. Following the success of last year, the event is comprised of a challenging Closed Road 5k and 10k race (featuring chip timing for all participants) and our 1 mile ‘colourful’ family fun run. This will improve your overall running experience providing a consistent running surface throughout to help you reach those PB’s and above all delivers maximum safety for our runners.
We have an amazing event village, so there is something for everyone. To keep the little one’s entertained, there will be face painters, games, activities, performers and more. The whole event will also be complimented with music, plenty of stalls to browse around and many delicious caterers to enjoy. All carefully handpicked to ensure our guests enjoy their time at the event.
Both routes are now wheelchair and pushchair friendly and we will also have dedicated cheer points out on the route to help push you along and give you that added boost, all adding to a fantastic and unique running experience of Run Frimley.
Our Fun Run
The course will stay within the grounds of the event village which means everyone can watch and cheer loudly to all those taking part. What is even more exciting is that we are making this event super colourful and will need your help too! They’ll be powdered paint just as you will have seen at other colour runs and bubbles for all the runners to enjoy and embrace as you run together. Where we need your help is to add even more colour. We want to see the wackiest, craziest, and the most colourful runners we ever seen!
As we want this to be the whole family taking part together, we are also giving free entry to the fun run to anyone who takes part in either the 10k or 5k race. The 10k and 5k race will start and finish before the start of the fun run, just so we don’t add any tired legs to the main event, so really, you have no excuse! Please note, there will be a limited number of medals available for this route.
