Organiser's Description
RØVE dispenses with traditional live tracking and leaderboards. Runners are challenged to cover as much distance as possible within the 8-hour limit using a dynamic loop system:
3 Distinct Loops: 2.5km, 5km, and 8.5km.
Equivalent Effort: Each loop features different profiles and terrain, but they are designed to demand an equivalent level of effort relative to their distance.
Total Freedom: Runners can choose to run any loop, in any order, at any time. Taking rest periods at the basecamp is entirely up to the individual.
The Blind Factor: There are no live standings or positioning updates during the event. Participants will not know where they rank or what distance is "enough" to win until the 8 hours are completely over.
Results: Shared privately 24-48 hours after the event. All effort is equal on the day. No fanfare, no winners, no podium, no prizes. Everyone gets the same medal.
