This exciting event will take place on Saturday, December 13th, 2025, in the picturesque town of Okehampton, Devon. Whether you're a seasoned runner or a casual walker, the Stag Challenge welcomes participants of all abilities to join in the fun. Choose between two start times: an early 8:30 AM option with a generous 7-hour cut-off and a later 10:30 AM start with a 5-hour cut-off. The route features a scenic 5.3k out-and-back lap along an old disused train line, providing a beautiful backdrop for your adventure.
Participants can complete as many laps as they can in the allotted time, making it a perfect challenge for everyone—whether you aim to finish one lap or push yourself to conquer up to 14 laps! Every finisher will receive a medal, celebrating your achievement. Spaces are limited, so be sure to register early to secure your spot in this fantastic event. Running Events Devon would like to invite you to come and run with us.
At our BRAND new venue, the Stag challenge event is being held on the Saturday 13th December 2025
We still have our 2 start times an 8:30 start with a 7 hour cut off, and a 10:30 start with a 5 hour cut off.
Absolutely all abilities of runners / walkers can take part in our events as you have 7 hours to get to the finish of your final lap, each lap is 5.3k out and back, of our scenic route on an old disused train line.
Everyone is welcome whether you are planning to walk or run, whether you finish 1 lap, 4 laps or even 14 laps in the permitted time, we would class you as finisher and a winner, and you can collect your Medal for the event.
Please come and have a try and see how far you can go.
Places are strictly limited so please do not leave it too late to enter, if and when we reach capacity anyone entering after, will get a bespoke medal of their choice of the ones that we have with us on that day.
