SURVIVAL is back with a vengeance!
SURVIVAL is one of Kent’s toughest military OCR, Is back at our home, Betteshanger Park.
Taking place on the 1st October 2022.
There are a number of race options, including SURVIVAL JUNIOR and SURVIVAL ELITE, plus for the adult race, you will be able to choose between a 2km, a 4km and a 8km route.
Whichever option you choose, we guarantee an EPIC muddy race that will have you jumping, swinging, wading and crawling your way through Kent’s toughest military obstacles scattered around Betteshanger Park

How to Get There
We are well connected to the motorways (M20 and M2) and local road network, so we’re easy to find. We are on the A258, approximately 2 miles from Deal and 10 miles from Dover.
If you’re using a Sat Nav, please use postcode CT14 0BF. Please be aware, your Sat Nav may take you along small country lanes. For a more direct route from the M20 or A2/M2, follow the A256 to Sandwich and then pick up the A258. Please do not follow road signs to Betteshanger village.
By Rail
We are well serviced by the main rail networks and Southeastern High Speed from London. Our nearest train stations are Deal (3 miles) or Sandwich (4 miles).
Parking
There is an admission charge of £3.50 per vehicle.
Charges apply all day, every day. No ticket is required. You can enter Betteshanger on foot or by bicycle for free.
There are no charges to use the cycle tracks, trails or the play area.
Course Details
Laps of 2km, include completing the Boonies 30 obstacle course, mud slides a lake crossings and special obstacles.

What time are the races starting
Junior race start from 10am, in 15 min waves Adult & Elite raves start at 12pm, in 15 min waves

There will be food and drink vendors, cafe, toilets and changing facilities

Plenty of parking is available at a cost of £3.50 per day

Can people spectate?
Spectators are allowed on site for free, but the course will be out of bounds
Survival Junior
2 km race for kids across over 30 obstacles including muddy & wet challenges. (1 lap of the course)
All participants will receive a Finisher Shirt and an exclusive Survival medal
Kids race is open to ages 5 to 12 as of 1/10/2022
Survival Adult
4km race for adults (over 12 years old) across over 30 obstacles including muddy & wet challenges (2 laps)
All participants will receive a Finisher Shirt and an exclusive Survival medal
Survival Elite
8km race for adults (over 12 years old) across over 30 obstacles including muddy & wet challenges. (4 laps)
All participants will receive a Finisher Shirt and an exclusive Survival medal
