Join us in Northampton, currently Britain’s largest town, for the Amazing Northampton Run as we take you on a grand tour of everything amazing in Northampton!
Be one of thousands to experiencing the 13.1 mile closed-road half marathon route through beautiful parks, along the riverside, past great sporting venues and amazing architecture. The date for your diary is the 13th September 2026
Based in the Heart of England, with excellent transport links, The Amazing Northampton Run is accessible wherever you live.
A loop around the town, starting at the historic Market Square, following the line of the river past Northampton’s three main sporting grounds; Sixfields stadium (football), Franklin’s Gardens (rugby) and The County Ground (cricket), through three beautiful parks, passing through the modern University campus and returning to the Market Square.
And yes it’s true there are 31 steps on the route!
