Organiser's Description

Set in the heart of the Breamish Valley the route represents one of the best single day loops you can do in the Cheviots. You will start off with gentle climbs and a few fast descents before getting down to business. Gruellingly sharp climbs will have you wondering if you can get up them without stopping; what will give up first, your legs or your traction? Off-piste riding will have you battling through rough grass that can sap your legs. Fast downhills are to be handled with care.

Just so we mention this up front: this is a hard ride! It’s an exposed route on testing terrain and a real achievement to make it round. The distance may increase as optional extra sections may be come available. Whichever way you cut it, it’s going to be tough. Suited to xc bikes of any kind and even gravel bikes if you want a proper adventure. 42 miles, 6000ft of ascent.
