Organiser's Description
A wonderful event in the beautiful grounds of Thoresby Hall in North Nottinghamshire. Choose from 5k, 10k, half or full marathon, or 60k ultra running over old military roads, cleared tracks through ancient woodland and grassed paths around the Estate. The race takes you into Nottinghamshire's National Nature Reserve, through private areas that were once part of the 10,000 acre Royal Forest of Sherwood, where the woodland is dominated by native oak trees. The route also includes a few hills to offer a small challenge in this scenic countryside. The Longhorn cattle of Thoresby Estate roam freely, and although they're a very docile breed, they will be tucked away during our race!
