The Portland Coastal Marathon

Portland, Dorset

Weymouth & Portland National Sailing Academy, Portland, UK

Sun 2nd February 2020

Organiser's Description

This race is not a dreamy affair that everyone can do. Simple as that, it's hard. It is run on dramatic, rugged cliffs with hidden coves and stunning views, kangaroos (they’re not, they’re wallabies), prison, lighthouse, boulders, quarries, mud, gnarly descent,d slogging ascents…. this event has everything except PBs! This is a marathon of 27ish miles and 2400ish feet ascent on an out and back route. This is a brilliant, well organised event, fully sign posted with plenty of well stocked aid stations along the route. Half marathon and 10k options.
