Get ready for an exhilarating experience at The Round Res, taking place on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, in the picturesque Halifax, West Yorkshire! Organized by RunAble, this unique 3-person relay event features a scenic 5k route around the stunning Scammonden Water, located northwest of Huddersfield. Teams of three will tackle a combined distance of 30k, with each runner completing their designated leg: Runner 1 covers 15k, Runner 2 runs 10k, and Runner 3 finishes with a 5k sprint.
Registration opens from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM, and the race starts at 6:30 PM, so make sure your first runner is ready to hit the ground running by 6:25 PM! With a maximum of 45 teams allowed, this is a fantastic opportunity to engage with fellow runners of all abilities. The Round Res is a 3 person relay event based on a 5k route around Scammonden Water, the challenge starts and finishers next to Scammonden Water (NW of Huddersfield) you & your team simply run around the reservoir.
3 person team relay;
Enter a minimum of 1 ladies team or 1 men's team, (you may enter as many teams as you like) we expect that you will select your team from all abilities within your club and not just turn up with your 3 fastest runners, remember Strava never lies...
Runner 1 = 15k
Runner 2 = 10k
Runner 3 = 5k
Choose your team wisely...
Lap 1 - 1st runner runs solo and at end of lap 1 they pick up runner 2
Lap 2 - 1st runner & 2nd runner at end of lap 2 pick up runner 3
Lap 3 - Runners 1, 2 and 3 run this final lap together all cross the finish line together!
