In a world where the number of mountain bike duathlons has reached near extinction, The Stinger remains as popular as ever. The format is gloriously unchanged - a 5k off-road run followed by 20k on a mountain bike, before you head out on The Stinger run. It may only be 3k, but it will be 3k of the deepest mud and steepest hills Newnham Park has to offer. For 2018, you’ll also be able to cut your teeth on the novice Stinger – all the fun and games of the classic, but just half the bike distance. The novice event is for solos only.
