Tour de Shane

The Bishop's Palace, St David's, Pembrokeshire

Unnamed Road, St Davids, Haverfordwest SA62 6PE, UK

Sat 28th March 2020

Organiser's Description

THE 2020 EVENT IS CURRENTLY POSTPONED DUE TO THE CORONAVIRUS SITUATION WITH A VIEW TO IT BEING RESCHEDULED AT A LATER DATE. Please check back for more details.

This Sportive takes in some of the most beautiful little villages and roads that Pembrokeshire has to offer. The County lies in the only Coastal National Park in the UK and many of the area's iconic coastal sites will be visited and passed as you take on the TDS.

There are two distances of 50 miles and 70 miles making this ideal for an early season ride, and a chance to support Welsh rugby legend Shane Williams in his role as an ambassador for the Velindre Cancer Care charity. The 2020 event will be on closed roads, enabling us to safely increase the numbers and to allow the ride to raise a significant amount of money for the Velindre Cancer Centre in Cardiff.
