Join us for the Wonderland Caucus Run organised by findarace.com on Saturday 9th November 2019 in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. This afternoon/evening event will take place along an old railway line in Penistone, with a fun twist - there will be an award for the best outfits! The course is closed to traffic and offers a gentle out and back loop from the Community Centre. With a well-stocked aid station every 6.55 miles, runners can enjoy goodies and refreshments along the way. Participants will receive a unique custom-made medal and a goody bag filled with treats. Whether you run one lap or many, as long as you complete one lap, you are an official finisher! Don't miss out on this exciting event with a 6-hour time limit and a beautiful sunset at 1616.
Organiser's Description
We're returning to Penistone in South Yorkshire for an afternoon/evening Caucus Run, where there will be an award for the best outfits! Starting at 1400 and in to the evening, with a sunset of 1616, you may just need lights.
The course is along an old railway line and is closed to traffic - a gentle out and back from the Community Centre in Penistone. We'll have a well stocked aid station which you'll pass every 6.55 miles, (the loop consists of two parts of 2.2 miles and 4.37 miles, so you can pop in after 2.2 miles of the loop if you wish) which will have lots of goodies.There will be aunique custom made medal and a goody bag that actually contains goodies which will make the running worth it!
The event will have a 6 hour time limit for you to run as many, or as few laps as you wish - as long as you complete one lap, you are an official finisher!
