This unique event invites runners to enjoy an afternoon and evening of fun on a scenic course along an old railway line, which is closed to traffic, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience. Participants will embark on an out-and-back route featuring distances that allow for flexibility, including loops of 2.2 miles and 4.37 miles.
With a generous 6-hour time limit, you can run as many laps as you like, and every finisher will receive a custom-made medal and a goody bag filled with delightful goodies. Don’t forget to bring your best outfit, as there will be an award for the most creative attire! The race starts at 2:00 PM, with sunset at 4:16 PM, so be prepared for a magical evening run. Organiser's Description
We're returning to Penistone in South Yorkshire for an afternoon/evening Caucus Run, where there will be an award for the best outfits! Starting at 1400 and in to the evening, with a sunset of 1616, you may just need lights.
The course is along an old railway line and is closed to traffic - a gentle out and back from the Community Centre in Penistone. We'll have a well stocked aid station which you'll pass every 6.55 miles, (the loop consists of two parts of 2.2 miles and 4.37 miles, so you can pop in after 2.2 miles of the loop if you wish) which will have lots of goodies.There will be aunique custom made medal and a goody bag that actually contains goodies which will make the running worth it!
The event will have a 6 hour time limit for you to run as many, or as few laps as you wish - as long as you complete one lap, you are an official finisher!
