Wrexham County Trilogy:Erddig

The start finish line will be by the impressive Erddig Hall. The course will take you along some of the beautiful trails within the estate and along the Clywedog river before heading into the forest. The run will take place over a 5K out and back loop on a multi-terrain surface which is mostly in good condition though this may be weather dependant. The course has a mixture of flat and undualting areas with one challenging climb.

Throughout the course there will be marshals in key locations as well as signs to ensure everyone’s safety and enjoyment.

Trail shoes would be the preferred choice if the weather is wet.

21.1K – 1.1K loop followed by 4 out and back 5K loops

15K – 3 out and back 5K loops

10K – 2 out and back 5K loops

5K – 1 out and back loop

3K – 1 out and back 3K loop

Registration will open at 8:15 am and close 15 minutes before the start of each race.

15K – 9:30 am

10K – 10:00 am

5K – 10:15 am

3K – 10:25 am

The course will officially close at 12:00pm

There will be awards presentation for the top 3 male and female finishers in each category at 11.15am

Junior 10 to 15 year olds

Open – 16 to 39 years old

Master – 40 years old +

Start/ Finish line is located close to the car park – There is no bag drop

Toilets available near start/ finish line

Race pack information will be emailed to all participants 5 days before race day

Bring your own refillable bottle
We aim to make our events as environmentally friendly as possible by trying to limit the number single use plastic bottles, please bring your own refillable bottle. We provide water at our aid station to refill your bottles

Category Changes
Category changes are available until 36 hours before race start. Please note that there will be an admin fee for changing to a longer distance category, there are no refunds for changing to a shorter distance category.

Refunds & Cancellation Policy
If due to circumstances beyond our control the event needs to be cancelled or rescheduled, your entry will automatically be transferred to the next local event. Due to the high costs of staging events such as this, we are unable to offer refunds.

Any change in distance after sign up will incur a cost if going up. For example, if you signed up to 10K and would like to then change to 15K, there would be an admin charge for the change. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds when changing from a higher to a lower distance.
