Organiser's Description
XRACE is a mystery adventure race over an awesome 3.5k course, where a parent (or a trusted relative or family friend ) and child aged 6-14yrs race together, locate and complete 10 mystery challenges, racing the clock and all the other family teams. The challenges range from physical (eg tug-of-war) to mental (eg memory challenge) to knowledge-based (eg music challenge). The challenges change from year to year and course to course. No XRACE is ever the same. An event which encourages self-esteem in children and helps develop family bonds.
