Organiser's Description

Returning for a 2nd year after an amazing debut in 2015, this middle distance event takes place in a truly awesome setting at Kielder Water & Forest Park, where you can experience racing on a grander scale: the views are bigger, the sky brighter, the sport wilder. A swim in the biggest man-made lake in Northern Europe is followed by a bike leg around rugged border country. Over 4000ft of climbing on this undulating route will require true spirit. The run follows established pathways and trails, much of it around the Lake.
