Seaview 17

Minehead, Devon

Minehead Hospital car park, off Seaward Way, Minehead,

Sun 28th July 2019

Organiser's Description

This tough, 21 mile, ‘find your own way’ run follows the South West Coastal Path. Okay... so it's not a 17mile course - but it is 17 miles as the crow flies! It's well marked, so if you keep your eyes open, navigation should be fairly easy. There's a short sharp climb near the start in Countisbury, followed by undulating tracks through coastal woodland, open fields, another track, then a road, then the long climb to Selworthy Beacon which will take every ache in your body and double it - you need to be both physically and mentally tough for this little hill - more undulations, then it's downhill to the finish in Minehead. This is one of the most beautiful (and hilly) stretches of Coast path in the country.
