The Balfron 10k, organised by Balfron 10k, is set to take place on Sunday 3rd May 2020 in Glasgow, Stirling. This popular event offers participants a scenic, rural route with stunning views of the Campsies and Fintry Hills. The 10k race will be on closed roads, and for 2020, the route will have fewer hills than previous years. Additionally, there will be a family mile run before the main event. While good weather can't be guaranteed, participants can look forward to changing rooms, entertainment, and refreshment stalls. Organiser's Description
Balfron is ideally situated between Glasgow and Stirling, and this rural, closed road route takes in the fantastic views of the Campsies and Fintry Hills. For 2020 we are reverting to the “old” route, which has a few less hills. We will also be having a family mile run in advance of the 10k run. We can’t promise the good weather of last year, but there will be changing rooms, entertainment and refreshment stalls.
