Organiser's Description
This Ultra will take runners on an epic adventure. Starting on the coastal shore of Walney Island, the route heads North towards Earnse Bay, then cuts across to the East side of the Island to pass through the village of North Scale. It leaves the Island to follow the Cumbrian Coastal Way, heads through villages and out to the coast to pick up the 'Old Line' coastal trail. Finally runners will follow the streets and roads that lead back over to Walney Island. This is a challenging and exciting course, with amazing scenery, beautiful landscapes, rolling hills and great trails.
