Runningmonk Trail Events was born from our passion for trail and long-distance running. We are genuinely enthusiastic about running and aim to make our events as inclusive and accessible as possible. We value all of our runners and hold the belief that running is for everyone.
There are no cut-off times, and if you participate and are ready to persevere until the end, we'll be waiting with your finisher's medal and a warm hug as you cross the finish line.
Our mission is one of inclusiveness, with the aim of encouraging people to try their first ever ultramarathon whilst giving experienced runners a great day out on a fantastic course, with a friendly and happy vibe.
This gorgeous 50K route, has about 5000ft of elevation, made up of quiet back roads, peaceful trail, lush forestry, colourful meadows and fields, showcasing Shropshire's true beauty.

Lovely course and friendly organisers. Food was a highlight!... watermelon, homemade mini vegan sausage rolls and salted mini potatoes. Starts and ends at a campsite. Beautiful part of the world...Offa's Dyke must be one best trails in the country for me. There are plenty of very steep climbs and a wide mix of terrains, not all easy! So a tough one if it's your first. You do need to pay attention to the navigation .. it is well signed but helps to have the GPX and a navigation device. But all in all a brilliant day.
