Organiser's Description

Whatever you are aiming for, whether you’re in the middle of Couch-to-5k, or training for a half marathon and looking for company during part of your long Sunday run, we’re here to support your goals. Your speed is not important, just bring your running mojo and we’ll do the rest!

Our monthly races will start and finish at the Gypsy Brae Recreation Ground, Edinburgh. The route is all tarmac; it's a flat course for lots of PBs!

Course Details

The course is completely flat and follows a beachside promenade beside the Firth of Forth estuary in Edinburgh. It's perfect for setting a PB!

You can expect a pre event email with race info, loads of support and a friendly welcome on the day, results will be emailed to you on the day.

FAQs

  • What time does it start?

    10am

  • Is there a bag drop?

    Yes, you can leave your stuff with us at the registration area (at your own risk).

  • Is there a water station?

    Yes, at the 5km lap and 10km laps there is a water station.

  • Is it route marked?

    Yes and we have marshals on the course to help guide you too.

  • Is there a cut off time?

    We prefer you to finish the 10km in less than 90 minutes if possible.

  • Can I push my buggy?

    Yes, it's suitable for buggy running!

  • Can I run with my dog?

    Sadly our insurance will not cover this option.

  • How old do you have to be to take part?

    11 years old for the 5km race and 15 years old for the 10km race.
