Organiser's Description
Join us for this festive edition of our popular 5/10k trail run! Fancy dress encouraged! All routes are fully marked and supported with run route signs. The race is set in the beautiful Bolton countryside at Walker Fold. The hilly trail has a mixture of stone, mud and water (snow & ice?!) along the way.

Enjoyable trail run, somewhat muddy. The run was excellent. Well organised and great fun.
I wasn't expecting a trail though, so had the wrong shoes -- five tumbles, but nothing bad, and my first 10k race and first trail ever all done.
Full marks. Would run again.
